The Easyriders Rodeo has been a regular event at the fairgrounds in Ross County for over 30 years. A motion was made by a board member from the floor and seconded, stating “to not offer Easyrider Rodeo a contract to hold their event at the Ross County Fairgrounds.” The motion carried, fifteen agreed, two opposed, effectively discontinuing the rodeo at the fairgrounds. Prior to the meeting, Cosenza said the board received approximately ten emails requesting the board consider allowing the event to continue.Įighteen of the twenty-one voting board members were present at the meeting.

He did state that if the board decided to continue providing a venue for the rodeo, his department would respond to calls as provided by law but would not assist in the security portion of the event.” He made it clear to the board that he was in no way intending to sway the board in making a decision to not continue to allow the event on the fairgrounds, but only to point out his concerns for the community and to state his department would no longer provide security. “He also stated unequivocally that he, nor any of his department, going forward, would provide security services during another Easyrider event. During the Sheriff’s comments, he described a situation that took place this year during the event that he felt put the lives of his deputies and possibly the community at large in a life-threatening situation,” Cosenza said. “At the meeting, Ross County Sheriff George Lavender and members of his command staff addressed the board and provided a video of drone footage of this year’s rodeo. I am very happy with the tires and recommend them to anyone. The Guardian spoke with Agriculture Society President Brad Cosenza, who explained the fair board’s decision. Very nice trade off, as I don't run autocross in my flex. As for steering response, I don't think they are as sharp as the Hankooks, but they still are very good. As the miles accumulate, I have noticed the tires seem to be getting better on rolling and traction. But you need to roll 2k miles or so to really judge. But the Hankooks were like rocks and didn't seem to have any friction. We have not had any deep snow yet, but I think they will be ok for a 19 inch tire. The coopers have been grippy in the wet and the snow/ice. It was quite easy to spin the tires with the Hankooks. I have had them up to 80mph and they were smooth. They are much smoother over broken concrete, not harsh at all. I have driven 1k with the Coopers and I love them. Michelin's Latitudes were recommended but were more expensive than the Cooper Ultra T at the places I looked. They would also spin in the wet pretty easy at 21k.

The Hankooks were smooth at any speed, but were harsh on broken concrete. Tires are 235/55r19 and replaced OEM Hankook 725's that were near warning indicator at 21k. Overall with 5,000 miles I am pleased with the Coopers, but they are far from perfect tires, like many of these review blush. In other words, the Coopers don't seat on the rim like other tires. It's an ok trade off for our Toyota minivan, but I would not do these Coopers on a sport sedan.Īlso the way it mounted on the rim is weird vs the factory Goodyears, like the rim is too big and the tire is too small as it looks like you see it inside part of the rim which was hidden by the Goodyears. Call it a mushy feeling or disconnected feeling. It feels disconnected compared to the Goodyears, like there is a film or a layer between the tire and the road. There are 2 main problems with the Coopers. However, the Goodyear RSA is a much superior handling tire than the Cooper.

The Coopers also are much better in the wet.
